eSIM Compatible Devices: Check If Your Phone Supports eSIM

Planning to buy eSIM? Use this guide to quickly confirm whether your smartphone supports eSIM before ordering your RoamFree eSIM.

3 simple step boxes to check eSIM compatibility

Even if your phone model is listed as compatible, device region version and carrier lock will affect eSIM availability. This is the most common mistake users make.

What basic requirements does your device need for eSIM?

Before checking the model list, confirm these two critical rules:

  1. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked. Carrier-locked phones cannot install foreign eSIM profiles.
  2. The hardware of your phone version must include eSIM. The same model sold in different countries may remove eSIM hardware.
